I have known one of the co-founders of this travel company for many years, so when he and his partner told me about the company they wanted to build, it sounded pretty exciting to me.  I saw the unique offering it would bring to the marketplace, and I knew it had a chance to be special, if the other necessary pieces of the puzzle came together.  After catching the vision, I jumped in and helped prepare the company for its upcoming launch in December 2005.  We had secured a great legal team, both on the network marketing side and on the travel side.  Key administrative people were secured, and a smoking comp plan was designed.

Once it all began to come together, I knew this had a chance to be big!  I consulted my wife, Leigh, and shared with her the vision that I had for us with this company.  We agreed that for a season of our lives, I would focus almost all of my personal energy on building the business, and she would handle almost everything else.  We are a great team, and it worked.  

We had a similar conversation with our two boys who are still living at home.  They were immediately on board and agreed to the sacrifices that would be necessary for this time in our lives.  They totally understood when Dad would miss a game or an event.  Leigh was there to cover for me during that time, and they saw me working around the clock.  I will tell you this, they are now enjoying the rewards of winning! 

Since I was full time from the beginning, I was able to collapse time frames and make it happen quicker than most.  I can honestly say that I worked as hard as any human being can work for a 4 to 6 month stretch.  The only way anyone outworked me during that time was if they could get by on less sleep than I could.  I started early and was on the phone until I could not keep my eyes open any longer.

We had some true leaders stick their heads up during that time who now anchor our business.  It was amazing…I was totally focused and committed to winning, and those who were ready to do the same in their lives were very attracted to that.  There were several of us who were in the trenches together in the beginning and laid the foundation for our businesses together.

Today, I can honestly say that we have total time freedom and financial freedom.  And it has been that way since about 4-5 months into the business.

Many people tell me they wish they had been there day one.  However, if they understood how much better it is right now, I do not think they would want to go back.  All of those bumps in the road that are encountered as a new company are now behind us.  The great things are all in front of us.  I truly believe there are many who have  not joined yet who will build their business faster than I did.

Our first year's experience has been incredible. Leigh and I have been blessed beyond measure just by helping people achieve their dreams and goals.

We have traveled all over North America.  Over the last 18 months we have been to the Mexican Riviera twice, Orlando (Disney World), Las Vegas, Southern California, New York City, Toronto, Niagara Falls, Colorado four times (once in the summer and three times skiing) Destin, Florida, Maui, and hunting in Kansas and South Dakota.  This was free to us. Paid for by a travel bonus program in our company.

Through bonus programs, the company has been paying for my car for over two years and has been paying our house payment almost two years.

As I share with you some of our accomplishments in this company, let me say up front that this is a testament to the great team we have.  We have been blessed with some awesome leaders on our team.
